Mechanical Strengths of Alkali-Activated Blast Furnace Slag Powder with Different Alkali Activators and Plant Fibers

In this paper, the influence of water glass types, modulus glass, alkali content, consumption, and plant fibers on mechanical strengths alkali-activated blast furnace slag powder (BFS) is investigated. Moreover, fiber types pretreatment measuring temperature performance BFS are further considered. Results indicate that activated by potassium silicate shows higher than sodium silicate. The with treatment most advantageous. leads to decreasing compressive strength. A total 35% consumption beneficial specimens’ flexural strengths. Samples 14% show maximum Alkali-activated 1% wheat straw in addition volume represents can improve values 30.4% 16.8% compared specimens increase 33.8% 32.7%.
